ABUJA, NIGERIA - The Senator representing Ogun West at the National Assembly, Senator (Dr.) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCTI, FCA, FFPI - fondly known as Yayi, has sent a heartfelt commemorative message to the families of the fallen heroes of the Nigerian Army as the nation marks the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
In a statement titled “Armed Forces Remembrance Day,” personally e-signed and made available to the media by Senator Adeola, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, he paid glowing tribute to Nigeria’s gallant service personnel.
“As we commemorate Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day, I salute the bravery and sacrifices of our courageous men and women in uniform who have defended Nigeria’s sovereignty and protected our citizens with unwavering dedication”, the statement read.
He further honoured the memory of the fallen heroes who paid the supreme price in the service of the nation, while also expressing deep appreciation to those who continue to serve with commitment and patriotism.
“Let us unite in patriotism and solidarity, and recommit to building a stronger, more secure Nigeria for all”, Senator Adeola urged.
