...As the council executives meet Governor Abiodun and APC leadership
The twenty newly elected Chairmen and their Vice Chairmen of the 20 Local Governments in November 16 LGs' poll have been presented with certificates of return.
The Presentation took place on Sunday at the Ogsiec's office , Oke- ilewo, Abeokuta.
Speaking shortly after the presentations ,the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon.Olanrewanju Oyegbola Sodipo, reassured the people of his LG of the pledge to hit the ground running so as to fulfill all his campaign promises.
Many of the the chairmen while addressing journalists stated that they are set to replicate the ISEYA mantra of the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration at the Local Government level.
Earlier, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Chief Emmanuel Taiwo charged the councils chairmen on the need to fulfill their pledges and embark on developmental projects that would make life more meaningful and impactful to the people at the grassroots.
Meanwhile , The newly elected Chairmen and their Vice-Chairmen from across Ogun State were officially received on Sunday by Governor Dapo Abiodun and the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in the state. The meeting, held in Abeokuta, marked a key moment in advancing grassroots governance and development.
Governor Abiodun expressed profound gratitude to the people of Ogun State for their overwhelming support and trust in the APC, which led to the resounding victory of the party’s candidates in the local government elections.
During the meeting, the governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, particularly at the grassroots level. “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that every citizen feels the impact of good governance and benefits from the progress we are driving across the state,” he said.
The APC leadership also emphasized the importance of unity and effective governance as the newly elected officials prepare to assume their roles in serving the people.
